Spearheaded by GIRLS CLUB Chapter Leaders, Cassidy & Janice, the East Kootenays chapter of GIRLS CLUB will embrace all that GIRLS CLUB holds dear: friendship, fun, frivolity... inclusiveness, connection and community.

Meet Janice & Cassidy!
Cassidy was born and raised in Cranbrook, BC, where she has explored a variety of ways to support and engage with her community. She is passionate about helping people build confidence and develop skills for everyday life.
Cassidy works with Rocky Mountain Behaviour Analysts as a manager of two staff-supported homes, where she collaborates closely with staff, youth, and their support networks. She holds a certificate in behaviour intervention, including training in the MAP and PATH person-centred planning processes.
Prior to her work in behaviour support, Cassidy spent 16 years at Cranbrook Photo, where she worked in portrait photography, facilitated private events, and instructed art workshops and classes for all ages. She is excited to bring together her experience in both community support and the arts to help GIRLS CLUB participants learn, grow, and thrive.

Janice is the mom of two grown sons, one with autism. She is a Special Olympics coach and works with many wonderful families who have neuro-diverse children in her day job.
Janice noticed a gap in services for neuro-diverse girls and youth and wanted to do something to close this gap. She found GIRLS CLUB and is excited to co-facilitate a chapter in the East Kootenays.
