GIRLS of Northern BC

We’re excited to re-open our Northern BC Chapter this summer!
If you live in the area, we want you to come and hang out with us.

Spearheaded by GIRLS CLUB Chapter Leader, Kristen,  the Northern chapter of GIRLS CLUB embraces all that GIRLS CLUB holds dear: friendship, fun, frivolity... inclusiveness, connection and community!

Meet Kristen:

Kristen is a mom to three amazing children who are now 16, 19 and 21.  Kristen’s two youngest children are on the Autism Spectrum.  Jacob was diagnosed at the age of 11 after going through many struggles throughout his elementary school years.  Madison was diagnosed at the age of 17, after many, many years of struggling socially and in school.  Her oldest son, Joseph, has been an amazing support and a positive role model to his younger siblings.

Kristen has been a strong advocate for her children through the diagnosis process and throughout their lives.  She has become passionate about learning about Autism and other developmental disabilities and has not only helped her own children but many others through her work as a Youth Care Worker for School District 57.

Kristen is very excited to be able to bring the Northern BC Chapter of Girls Club back to Prince George and is looking forward to many exciting events and seeing girls make lifelong friends.

There is much more to our story!
